In brief: Acer and Microsoft plan small business server

Acer and Microsoft are planning to join forces to deliver a small business server package. The system will be made up of the AcerAltos 330S server, ASM Pro server management software and the Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server suite.

Priced from $3,995 (£2,440), connectivity and expandability will be provided by two ISA, five PCI and one shared ISA/PCI slot, including two 5.25in and three 3.5in drive bays.
