German Linux vendor SuSE is to lose its global president and CTO just one month after the departure of the firm's CEO.

Dirk Hohndel, who has acted as both president and CTO for the past three years, said he was leaving to pursue other interests. A replacement has not yet been named.

The resignation comes just a month after CEO Roland Dyroff was replaced by former CFO Johannes Nussbickel and 10 per cent of staff were laid off.
