Cisco has released a series of mid-range internet routers aimed at service providers and enterprises.

This is the first major launch since Cisco - which was briefly the world's most valuable company - announced a radical restructuring programme aimed at reversing the company's tumbling share price.

The new products are part of Cisco's Architecture for Video, Voice and Integrated Data project, which aims to allow businesses to run voice and data traffic on the same network.

The new products include the 7,300 router, and new additions to the 7,600 series.
