Content management company RedDot Solutions has launched its content management server product family in the UK.
According to RedDot, content management server (CMS) tools allow individuals with no technical knowledge to manage and edit web pages.
Eric Heiligenstein, VP of sales at RedDot, told silicon.com: "It's a tool to create and maintain inter- intra- and extranet projects."
The company's content management system has a staging server and a live server, to allow for new content to developed on the staging server without interrupting the content on the live server.
All editorial content and management tasks can be entered via a web browser and amended physically on the page.
The company is initially offering its CMS Express 4 software and CMS professional software, which cost £7,500 and £50,000 respectively.
CMS Express is designed for small and medium-sized internet and intranet projects with up to five authors working simultaneously.
CMS Professional allows for any number of users working simultaneously to be licensed, and is suitable for major internet projects.
According to Heiligenstein, RedDot has 1,000 projects online, 400 customers and 500 installations.
