Alright, we admit it...

As you may have noticed silicon.com took a brief, unscheduled holiday this morning between 05.30(GMT) and around 10.00(GMT).
This was due to problems with our ISP connection and not - as the IT department initially assured us - a result of leaves on the line. Having mocked shark-induced net downtime in the past, we now feel suitably ashamed.
Apologies to all those who tried to access the site this morning. If you're reading this, thanks for your patience. Fingers crossed, we won't be taking any more time off until 25 December.
