ARM has unveiled its new microprocessor architecture, which is aimed at boosting audio and video quality in PDAs and other mobile devices.
The ARM11 micro-architecture will power small devices enabling them to receive small video clips and audio pieces. The processors will also be used in digital cameras and networking equipment such as switches and routers
The chips will be shipping in finished goods during the second half of next year.
