
Thanks to a tax refund...

Silicon Graphics (SGI) has turned in profits of just over $10m in its third quarter thanks to a $32m tax refund.
In the same period last year the company was languishing in losses of more than $140m.
Excluding the tax refund it made a pro-forma loss of $9.8m for the quarter. Revenue was down on last year from $509.7m to $313.6m.
