
New hardware direction for Mac maker...

Hardware releases are notoriously thin on the ground at Apple's developer conferences, but CEO Steve Jobs has surprised delegates by hinting at the release of a new server range this week.
In a teaser for an announcement due on 14 May, Jobs said the company will launch its first ever rack-mounted server running on Mac OS X Server.
The move is the company's latest attempt to move into markets other than its traditional strongholds of design and education.
