I must have been doing it wrong all these years...
i have my linux server running on a p2 650 with 512 mb ram, and i got the machine for £150 2 years ago.
The cpu never has gone above 50% usage and has never fallen over.
i didn't realise i needed a IBM's z900 mainframe
