Power should be a concern for many other places, besides the UK. The New England quadran is vulnerable as well.
For any companies that have critical data sharing with the UK, there are solutions for mirroring, and storing, in an enviroment that is your failsafe for recovery.
It is not if there will be issues, but when. When they do occur, it is how well you respond that matters.
