Red Hat will this week launch an advanced version of its Linux operating system.
Linux Advanced Server will be unveiled at this week's LinuxWorld Conference in New York, according to US wires.
The latest version of the open source OS will be tailored to high-end computer systems and will include features such as clustering and load balancing.
Red Hat is also taking steps to halt piracy of its software, which is nevertheless based on the free Linux OS.
