Scott McNealy is chairman and CEO Sun Microsystems.
He co-founded Sun Microsystems in 1982 but didn't assume the role of CEO until 1984.
He is famous for coining the term 'the network is the computer to express the concept of distributed computing on which his company depends.
He was educated at Harvard, gaining a BA in economics and then later took an MBA at Stanford.
McNealy is a keen amateur ice hockey player and he owns a dog, called Network.
