iPhone 3.0 was launched at Apple's headquarters in California yesterday, with a slew of new features. Scott Forstall, Apple's iPhone software senior vice president, headed up the announcement in Steve Jobs' absence. Here's a run through of that presentation.

First up in the 3.0 arsenal, Apple will add turn-by-turn directions, which will give it true GPS functionality.
