Overland Data has unveiled an Advanced Intelligent Tape Library that it claims can be customised and scaled according to individual needs.

LibraryPro has a plug-and-play modular capability that is based on the company's previous product, LibraryXpress. This enables customers to buy a single module and add to it as they wish.

It provides up to 4.25TB of data capacity, with data transfer speeds of 6Mbps, and will be shipped in December at around $10,000.
