Compaq has strengthened its storage area network (SAN) offerings with the release of a series of software products.
Developed jointly with HighGround Systems, the products are aimed at simplifying resource management over SANs. Among the products being released is SANworks Storage Resource Manager, a Web-based product that allows storage administrators to provide trend analysis.
Compaq also announced the SANworks Data Replication Manager for replicating business critical data between remote sites.
