TheBrain.com, a Web site that provides data storage and management applications, has poached top Andersen Consulting executive, Peter Fuchs, to become its chairman and CEO.
Fuchs was a global managing partner at Andersen Consulting and founder of its strategy practices group. With 35 years of experience at the company, Fuchs is one of a tide of senior executives leaving traditional businesses to head up Internet start-ups.
Brain.com enables businesses and individuals link files, documents, and Web pages across applications and networks online.
Fuchs will be responsible for guiding the company's overall business strategy and development of new technologies.
