Storage software company Veritas has unveiled two storage products for IBM databases.

The products, called Database Edition and Database Edition/HA, are designed for IBM's DB2 Universal Database.

The products are designed to help businesses simplify the administration of DB2's underlying storage and server environment.

The software also optimises the performance of database applications and improves the clustering technology in DB2 environments.
