'Give us your storage and server cash'

Kodak has won a legal battle over Java that could see Sun landed with a $1bn legal bill.
According to ruling made by a court in Rochester, New York, Sun has infringed a patent Kodak bought from Wang Laboratories in 1997 over how the Java language can get another application to help it complete a function.
Kodak believes that warrants half of all Sun's server and storage profits from early 1998 to mid-2001, according to local paper Rochester Democrat and Chronicle - around $1bn.
The original suit was filed in 2002 after years of negotiations between the two companies couldn't find a mutually agreeable licensing pact and represents Kodak's shift in strategy as its traditional business of physical photos has been outstripped by digital photography and printing.
The two parties will be back to court this week when the amount of damages will be set.
