For years, pirates blamed their actions on the high price of music - but this was scoffed at by the industry who, holding the legal high ground, didn't have to accept any of the blame. So it's reassuring to hear someone in the biz explaining that their pricing model is 'in competition' with piracy and that the companies themselves cannot afford to be greedy.
Piracy was not the answer to the problem of high prices but I'm glad that it has strong-armed the corporate types into a (disgruntled?) compromise.
Power to the people!
