I remember using RL02 drives in a PDP11, massive things they were, multiplatter, removable, looked a bit like flying saucers if you were a sci fi nerd like me

held something like a staggering 10Mb as I remember, it had the operating system, compilers and all the user files on

and that served around 8 people in a development lab

and how big is a single user copy of vista again ?

mind you I remember using punch cards and paper tape and having to write my own driver for the readers

showing my age now
