Yes, I agree with Peter that storage is heading for the network for pervasive user-access, and away from personal physical media. The important inference here is that network storage gets to know what we store, just like it knows what emails we send and receive (insert the "G" word here, e.g. the G-Drive). I'm personally not that paranoid, indeed I'm more interested in watching the consequences evolve.
